Smoking and Sex

In most countries, there is a warning on every cigarette packet a person buys indicating that smoking is injurious to health, yet people still smoke. Smoking can lead to various problems such as cancer, heart attacks, and with regard to smoking and sex, there are potential problems there too. Put simply, smoking lowers testosterone, in some cases it can lead to flat out erectile dysfunction. So we should properly be talking about smoking and no sex.

If that were not enough, there is also a cascade of effects to the circulatory system that are not positive in terms of getting and maintaining erections. These include constriction of the blood vessels, which nicotine is known to cause, and the fact that nicotine promotes the buildup of fatty acids in the bloodstream, a major contributor to hardened arteries. Smoking might look sexy in the movies, but smoking and sex don't go together in real life. If all of the previous details are not enough to dissuade you, there is now evidence that nicotine has a direct effect on sperm, causing lethargic or abnormally shaped sperm and a generally lower sperm count.

Forget smoking and sex, put down the cigarettes and have more sex.
